Ash is still 10?-Pokemon Theory Forums

Hi guys.

My first theory,Ash is still 10?!

There are a lot of assumptions why Ash doesn’t age : the most simple one that first comes to mind is that animation characters rarely age as Simpsons, for example, who haven’t age for the past 20-something years; other possibility might be that Ash time travels from episode to episode so the time doesn’t pass  the same way for him as it does for everyone else; and the most sensible assumption might be the fact that producers of the show just want to keep the main character appealing to younger kids.
Well, I think if you see Pokemon The Movie 3 Spell of unown, after Pikachu and Pichu's walking around,
you have seen that Ash tells Pikachu that it's there 2nd Anniversary as Pikachu met Ash that day.And if 
each season would be a year,he would be 16-17. As every season has a movie,a year ends in the movie.In
season 1,Battle for a badge,at the beginning, Ash is saying that it is a year we returned to Viridian city.
But actually, in original Japanese script,  A year-A while. So we think that Ash is still 10. But the ages we are thinking are tackling around.   See.

So,in BW adventures in unova and beyond,in episode Fires of a red hot,Charizard's height is same as before.And Ash's is also same. This,world of cartoons,every thing is animated.But in this forum,I think Ash
is still 10.
